Grape Grapefruit Face Frappe

This is a great recipe for the 90° to 100°F weather we have to survive every summer in Washington, DC! The grapefruit essential oil is optional, but it's not the same without it! This recipe is best for oily skin.
Cautionary note: because cold pressed citrus oils like grapefruit attract the rays of the sun, it''s best to use this goodie before bedtime to avoid the potential for sunburn.

Ingredients:
10 ripe, seedless grapes (green, grape and/or red will do)
1 teaspoon honey
1tablespoon  sour cream
3 tablespoons  finely powdered oats
5 drops  pink grapefruit essential oil (optional. you can also use white grapefruit essential oil)

Blending Procedure:
Process 9 of the grapes, honey and sour cream in small food processor until almost liquid. Add oats and mix again to form a smooth paste.

If mixture is too runny, add more oats. If too thick, add more liquid, either water or a bit more sour cream. Add essential oil last and mix with a spoon to blend in. Apply to face and neck to cleanse, or you can use it as a soothing facial mask. Leave on for 5-10 minutes while you relax and eat the other grape! Rinse gently off. Follow with toner and moisturizer. Enjoy!
