Herbal After Shave Tonic I

If you have a question or comment about this recipe, please post it in the Comments Section below! Also, to discuss recipes and questions with others, use our Forum!!
This was a favorite of many men at Maria Grace Bath Shop in the mid-90's. One in particular, a British gentleman, returned twice monthly for his freshly made batch. It has become one of my all-time favorite products for men. For best results, be sure to give a little shake before each use to ensure the even distribution of the ingredients.

Blending Procedure:
Combine the essential oils in a small bottle and allow to mellow together for at least 2 days. Shake gently periodically to completely combine the oils.

Place the witch hazel leaf in boiling water and steep for an hour or so. Strain out the herb, leaving behind the herbal infused water.

Pour the herbal infusion into the bottle you plan to dispense Herbal After Shave Tonic from. Add the turkey red oil, vegetable glycerin and aloe vera juice and shake gently to incorporate.

Add the essential oils last and shake again to mix. To use, place a generous amount onto a cotton pad after shaving to soothe and tone the skin. Another way to dispense this product is to just pour some onto the palm and splash the newly shaved area with it. This product can also be used as a facial toner on its own. Enjoy!!
